Just got a call from this number again. Several each day. Says he's calling for mastercard and visa. I asked where he was located, he said Ohio. Caller ID comes across as Atlanta, Ga.
Received today -- Aug 10, 2010 -- three calls to my business cell phone from 404-682-1631. Didn't answer any of them, as I was (1) busy and (2) didn't recognize the #. Caller left no messages. Called that number tonight, and received message that the number has either been disconnected of is no longer in service. Added the number to my cell phone blocked caller list.
I have had many calls from unknown numbers and/or from people who are too ashamed to leave their name. After several months of such calls I bought a small brass whistle. It is very shrill and very loud. After the first ring I blow them away with the loudest possible blast. I seldom receive a second call from the same number, and have never had a third call.
Second of two calls today, no response when we answered. I called back, and a recording offered to let me hear how to make money at home. We have our number listed as "Do not call" and this is an illegal call, but I can't find out who it is.
This person tried to offer me a credit card i told him i dont want anything and dont have time ....he said"well i'm at work so ty for wasting my time"....OMG i said "excuse me i to am at work and i am acaregiver for a quadrapegic and he said "congats,since you're boasting"...i said r u kidding me you smart [***] wth. and he hung up b4 i could tell him my patient is my WIFE!
This number has called my cell phone at least 8 times today alone but I cannot answer my cell phone at my house because service is bad but Its very annoying, and they never leave a message.
