got a call from this number also. showed up on id from ga. told me if i had a computer and was having problems with microsoft or windows. i said yes, they asked me to go to the computer and they would walk be threw the steps to fix it. i told them i would wait for my son to come over as i dont know to much when it comes to computors. he said your son cant help you only he could becuse i would have to be walked threw it. he talked with an india accent so it was hard to understand him,so i hung up. a few min. later the same guy calls me from a different # from penn. needless to say i blocked both numbers. 1-404-800-2021 and 1-860-855-5933
Called saying there was something wrong (CLSID error) with my computer and it was showing errors at their end on their "Windows" server. I asked him which computer? I have 6 computers. I asked him what the IP address was...the Mac address... told him if he was seeing problems on his end, he would know my MAC address and IP address. He was stone cold Indian and could barely speak English. You could tell he was in a giant call center because you could hear the chatter in the background of all the other crooks trying to get info.
Be aware...very aware.
