called my job asking for my boss. wouldn't give any info other than the name Ryan Ray, said he has my number i dont need to leave it, he's expecting my call, wouldn't say what it was about but said oh he will know my name. i told him my boss was in a meeting and he said, well could you go knock on the door i think he'll want to take this call. sure like i'm gonna go interrupt a meeting for a guy who won't give me a company name, number, or reason for the call. my boss has no clue who this guy is. when i told him i can not interrupt a meeting but if its that important tell me what its about and i will let him know, he said, ya know i'll just email him and hung up. scam alert.
Just said 'Atlanta' with the number 4048002021
Just received a call from this number and they said they were the FBI looking for help from locals to participate in a county man hunt....all I had to do was donate $10 through debit/credit # I asked could I mail a check and they hung up....he didn't expect that one!!! FING SCAMMERS!
They're still at it. Phone rang, I answered, waited on the call for a couple of minutes to no message. I just hung up. I had thought I might get some info from them to add to this thread.
They totally just called me as late as 8:50 pm. I didn't answer. Was the second one from this number in the last hour. Will update should this number call again.
