They asked to speak to my husband. It must of been one of those better robocalls that sound like a real person. I asked them who they were. I would interrupt them and the conversation would start over again. The recording said that they were wanting to know if I was pro life, etc. They gave me several options. I never did figure out why they were calling other than to try to get me to talk to someone and donate money, or to give them information including any political beliefs. They said they were calling about right to life. I will not give out any information over the phone. Anything other than hanging up and blocking them will lead to more phone calls.
Congress is in the process of passing new rules that allow debt collectors to use robo calls and more than three a day. Other businesses are fighting to allow them to use robo calling. The proposal is that phone companies can find a way to block unwanted calls. If the phone companies do find a solution to robo calls will we eventually be charged for them? Please don't quote me on this information. I am not that politically sauvy. I heard a news story. Maybe someone who reads this will be more intelligent about these things than me.
rhis is the second time today with a unknown numher the first time it was from miami now from ga they wont talk just hangups an then they redial at least 3 calls at a time. i wont it to stop. .
