So I get calls from this number 10 times a day. Always from a miss Mary Connor at legal litigation. So I finally called back to tell them that I wasn't gonna fall for their scam and her "boss "answered the phone. She did have my correct name but she also had my social, birthday and drivers license number, so that worried me. But then she said the county that I lived in, and it was absolutely not correct. So I'm sure this is that payday loan place who has sold our information it legally to unreported creditors. There is no business by the name of legal litigation's. This is a scam. This is a horrible woman and she's telling you you're going to go to jail for check fraud. This is absolutely ridiculous this woman is crazy. I have blocked the number, and she is still calling multiple times a day. So she's a persistent scammer I guess. Before you panic about calls like this check the laws on collection agencies. It is illegal for a collection agency to tell you that you're going to jail. Or that they're going to take your house or your car. That is false and I will be reporting this to my district attorneys office, and also the Georgia state District attorneys office. And I basically just laugh every time she calls. And I 100% know I did not perform any check fraud. This woman is a nut job.
I got a call from this same number say they were free Anderson Shumaker and Associates. They left a message, never said a name just said my s.s. or tax Id number was flagged for possible fraud. I never called back. I did a search online for the company and nothing came up. I searched the number and found a few posts just like this.
