Old Testament versus New Testament. All of the things you cite from the Bible are Old Testament. Christians follow the New Testament, with the Old Testament being a history book. Too many people confuse the two. The Old Testament laws are still followed b some faiths outside of Christianity (Judaism, the Koran is based on the Old Testament laws, etc). And yes, the part about being gay is in the Old Testament too.
The caller did not identify herself. She said she was calling because she understood my company was not predjudice against the gay community. I told her that's correct; I'm not predjudice regarding anyone's sexuality, religion or ethnicity. As I was tellling her I was not taking on any new clients, she hung up. I have no idea what the purpose of her call was, but it sounded like it was coming from a boiler room and it was not professional.
Get over yourself. The rest of the world does not have to or need to follow your bible. Of course you have not read the entire text or your vile words would not have been spoken. How does this mess with you constitutional rights? Oh that's right it has not.
Cat- your ignorance and hateful comments make you sound anything but the "good church going person" you say you are. When I read comments like yours I'm embarrassed to live in the same state. Perhaps you live in a remote part of Georgia and have never met anyone who was born gay. Perhaps they never felt comfortable enough to be themselves due to your lack of acceptance. I too, am a straight Christian and I challenge you in too open your mind a little bit. Spend some time talking to someone who is gay, do some volunteer work in the gay community. What you'll find is they are just like us and everyone else. Human beings. Give it a shot, forgive yourself for your hateful comments and stretch out of your comfort zone. Allow others to be themselves without judgement. The bible does not teach hate so please don't quote it with such ignorance. oh yea, take down your confederate flag and stop using the N-word.
