Just got a call and they left no message. We don't answer calls from numbers we don't recognize. Blocked them after reading the posts. We have a Panasonic phone that will block up to 250 calls. We are up to 61 blocked now.
They called claiming to be with a Pharmacy called RX something saying they needed to get ahold of me about my prescriptions mailed out to me. I told that person doesn't get prescriptions mailed out to the house. They tried to get personal information so they could take me off the do not call list which, was fishy since they had my name and number. When you call the number it gives an option to talk to the next available operator or to enter the persons extintion number. When you push one for the next operator it says good bye. Their operator that called me hung up when I asked why he needed personal info if they already had it and why were they pretending I was an existing customer when I first picked up. The name is Diabetes care 1 or something like it. It's not RX Pharmacy.
I received a call this morning,
Answered Phone after 3 rings-a male asked for my husband and I asked why do you want him.
He said it is about Medicaid and medical supplies.
I said ~ NO THANK YOU ~ and hung up,
AND about the ~ DO NOT CALL LIST
It does work -I have been getting mail delivered by USPS and some have the
notation about sending mail because I am on the DNCL [ mostly junk mail]
That surprised me because I did not think that worked , but I guess it does
because scammers always try another location.
They called our land line this afternoon. It only rang twice. Thanks to all who report on these weird calls. So nice to know we didn't miss anything important.
