I have been getting calls from this number for the last few months. Phone rings - I answer - no one is on the line. I did accept one of these free 3 month magazine subscriptions at a book store. Before the 3 months was up I called to be sure subscription was cancelled and they had already charged my credit card for subscription renewal for one year and told me that after that year my subscription would be cancelled. Why do reputable stores allow their customers to be suckered in to such a thing!! Based on other comments I am assuming these calls are associated someway with these magazine subscriptions.
I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone - when I answere there is no one on the line. I am afraid it is from some type of magazine sales. I signed up for a 3 months free subscription for 3 different magazines at a store where I shop on a regular basis. I called the number provided to cancel the subscription before the 3 mos. and was told that my subscriptions had already been renewed for a year for which they charged the credit card that I had used at the store. Told I could cancel after the one-year subscripton expired. What a scam.
My phone has been ringing at least 5 times a day for the past week with calls from this number....they never leave a message....and have called as late as 9pm at night!!! Have not spoken to anyone yet but then I'm never home when they call.....just see the calls on my caller ID.
Started receiving calls from this number today. The number comes up as a cellular phone. when I answered, they asked for me by name then asked if I was still enjoying my subscription to OK magazine. I've never had a subscription to this magazine. Person hung up when I told him that.
