I good way to stop this Brighthouse has a provision in there web site to selective call block or selective call forwarding. Put there number in the web site and they will not be able to get through.
If you have ever filled out any form, about being a diabetic, or knowing someone who is a diabetic, that is how they got your number. Those questionnaires that are posted to get free stuff on the internet, yea, those get given to them. Telling them to stop calling on this website does no good. I am by no means taking their side, I am just saying that through my extensive research, I have found out why I get some calls. One is by clicking on any questionnaire, whether it is online or on a piece of paper, that I have a certain condition or allergy or what have you, and deep down, in the fine print that we are all too lazy to read, it says I give someone permission to call me. I am not saying every single person has had it happen that way, and the others will argue with me and lie to me, and try to convince me that they have never ever clicked or checked those boxes.
