Your strategy might work with legitimate businesses, but all it will do with crooks like these is confirm that yours is a working number and guarantee that you will be inundated with similar calls.
Got the same call today. But I love pressing "1" and then give the operator an earful of button pushing for about 10 seconds. They always hang up right away. Since I am not to worried about my phone number anyways (getting rid of it soon as it is because it is redundant) I will keep playing with these people.
Hurray caller ID. Because I didn't know the number I didn't answer the call which came in at 11:56 a.m. Robocaller left a blank message when my robovoice answered. (Maybe our robos can do lunch some day, I said sarcastically).
