Lucky me – I get to be the first to report this scammer calling from 404-902-5782. Acme Protection (Cnam) has called me several times over the last 2-3 days. They never leave a message, typical behavior of a scammer.
The number is a VoIP service from the carrier Peerless Network of Georgia, near Atlanta. It may be a spoofed number because they called from 857 444 8131 (VoIP by Peerless Network of Massachusetts) just yesterday. Peerless Network already has a long record of catering to known telephone scammers.
The business “Acme Protection” does not exist in either Georgia or Massachusetts. It is a fictitious name made up by the illegal robocaller.
I’m adding both numbers to my call blocker’s blacklist.
