I just received 2 calls and VM today from a Mr Butler from Dorsey and he said on my VM that if I do not call him back today he will issue a Warrant for my arrest. LOL. How is this possible? I called back 10 minutes later and to be told they were not able to send me any documentation until I signed a release form verifing my identity including a copy of my Drivers License. Is this place a joke? My next step is to contact my lawyer and the BBB.
i fell for their threats, andpaid them a riduculous amount of money. how do i even go about filing a complaint or even suit against them, knowing now that i fell for their trap
Come one, These are not fake debts. leas can anyone tell me how the agency gets you SSN, Address, references, spouse information. Tere is no way this information can be obtained unless, now say it with me, YOU TOOK OUT THE LOAN. Now please pay your bills and stop looking for ways to get out of it. The economy will be better off if you deadbeats start being responsible.
concern. You are most likely someone who works for the company. What they are doing is illegal. I have told them once to not call my job. They continue to do so stating that they are an agent and that you have committed fraud but if you pay them all charges will be dropped. I say "sue me" bring it to court let the judge decide. But according to federal and state law once you tell them not to call you at work (which by the way is harrassment) they are suppose to stop. If they do not stop then you can bring judgement against them that more than out weighs any money you may owe a creditor. These people are not representing any company but themselves. The find the information on state debt site and then use the informaton to try to get money form you. Generally money that has already been written off by the company you owed or paid. If they had the true information on you they would contact you at home since generally any bills you may owe are under you contact home phone or home address not you work. So I say screw um my attorney told me that the next time the tried to contact me at work to forward them to him and for me to let him handle it and then we would see who would be paying who and who would be accused of fraud. So I did. can't wait to see the outcome. But I won't call them back. Did that once even paid them and you that money never did make it to the actual creditor. So I contacted my bank and the money was placed back into my account and the bank has contacted the state of GA and is working on bringing charges agaist these people for guess what "Fraud" bet they wont be happy now that the shoe is on the other foot uh. LOL
