Same thing got a call a recording stating a charge from my bank statement I called back a the lady told me she needed to look this up by phone # of the reason of the call she said well a man just called from my # which wasn't true because I'm the only one in my office and I'm a woman not a man :)........I googled there phone number 404-937-3661 and seen its a scam so I called them back to tell them I'm reporting them.
I just received a message from this number stating the same thing that most of you have reported. I don't write checks, use debit or online bill pay to pay all of my bills so I knew this had to be a scam. Thanks for the comments.
I've been receiving these types of call from all different phone numbers. What they're doing is tricking your caller ID to display a number they aren't calling from in order to not get complaints against them. I've blocked every number they've called from but they'll keep changing it or call you from an "unknown" number. The best thing to do is change your number.
