This comment/question is for the FTC regulator above. I currently have been dealing with these people from this number who have/were supposed to be selling me a puppy and having it shipped to me. They originally said the cost was 300.00 dollars for the dog amd transport and they have stayed in constant contact with me via text over the past couple days. They then let me know there was some sort of problem with the shipping company and that they needed additional money. They also said that they would help pay part of that additional cost. So I sent them the money requested. They are now telling me the dod has made it to Oregon and sent me a picture of the dog in Oregon with the transport company and also in the picture was a Police Animal Control Unit car. Now that the dog is in Oregon they are saying that the transport company is saying in order to comply with animal transport laws from one state to another, the dog is required to have a certain shot to come into Washington and also need to have a proper pet license in order to be delivered, which I know a let license does not cost &00.00 dollars. This whole time they only wanted to do everything by email and not phone. Then they would say they tried to call me but I didn't answer which I know is untrue. So we had someone call the number and leave a message saying they would be willing to loan the 800.00 dollars to me but would like to talk to them first to make sure it was legit. A man with a heavy accent did call me back. He said his name was Tony Adams and that it was true the dog was currently in Oregon with the delivery service and that he trusted this delivery service and believes they are telling the truth because he has worked with them many times in the past. He says to make sure all receipts are kept and when the delivery guy gets there they will be refunding her 1450.00 dollars after she signs the papers stating the dog was delivered. Of course by the point we asked these people to call about getting a loan from someone for 800.00 dollars we knew this was a scam. I just wanted him to make phone contact so it would show in my cell phone records of needed at a later date for pressing charges. The phone call was odd because it was a delayed call. Like I would talk. He would have to wait 15 seconds to hear what I said and then He would respond. I searched the internet and saw that they still have ads up selling these dogs with this same number. I would like to file a formal complaint but need to know who to call and how to do so.
