Person by the name of Agent Callaway calling relatives and my work stating I have defaulted on Government Loans. Also they are investigating me ref to writing bad checks. The caller is also stating that she is with the FBI. When I call the number back I get a recording ML & Associates Litigation. possible Atlanta Ga. area number. The caller sounds like a black Jamican female. I called the Atlanta FBI field office they advised they have no agent Callaway in that office. Another scam. There is no one that will help with this issue.
I have recieved this same phone call from the alleged "Agent Calloway", states that I owe on some pay day loan, she's been harrasing me at work and states that she's ran a back ground check on me and it came back clean and she's only trying to help me get this situated so it doesn't go to court. I don't know if she's real or not, but I've paid on these loans and have paid about 3,000.00 dollars worth for two loans. Can anyone help with this? How do you know these people are real or not?
Don't let these people scare you. I have gotten so many phone calls from them saying they will be investigating you and sending a warrant out. If there is a warrant on you it will be listed at your local police department. If you need to verify call them to find out. These people are scammers for sure. They will do everything they can to scare you into paying them all that money that you said you paid. I have had pay day loans in the past that I have not paid and I still get those phone calls. I have even called them to discuss my situation. when you tell them you can't afford to pay they act real stupid and will hang up on you. They get mad at you because they get a portion of the money you are sending them. That's how they get paid. Do some research on payday loans collections and you will be surprised at all the people that have been called and have not paid and have not been arrested or ever served a warrant for this matter. Whenever I receive a phone call from them it's usually a different phone number. I search for the number and I always find someone else that has been in the same situation. Good luck to you
African Scam. I think out of cameroon or Nigeria. Phishing for your real name and some info and will call from several different numbers..SCAMMERS. post to as many sites as possible to beat these crooks. other "area" codes" include"237". It unfortunately they are getting savy.. Just dont give personal info out to people you dont know.. good luck.
These people have been calling everyone's phone number to get in touch with me but me. I would like to know how they get my number. The first time i called them back i received recording ML & Associates Litigation. Now when i call the number it states that i have reached investigations. It is really starting to freak me out. I would like to know what to do. Because the guy left a message with my daughter that i should call him today or else i will have a warrant for my arrest
