No you owe Us money for the fraud that you do. Get a REAL job instead of harassing hard working citizens for THEIR money. Sooner or later the FBI will catch YOU!!! Your days are numbered MR. SPARROW, if that's even your REAL name!!!!
This guy mr sparrow has called me for almost 8 months now. Bs threatens us, tells us different amounts of money each time, and the thing is, I have not got a pay day loan since 2004. But I applied for one on the internet and the company took 100's of
Dollars from my account and I never got a loan, plus they sold my information to other companies and they all hit my credit.. Which all credit bureaus have determined with out a doubt that mr sparrow and his companies are committing identity theft on me. I have proof and can take it to court. I thought all this was over with but now it's time I act and do something about it. Mr sparrow is a spineless human being , and that's the nicest thing he has ever been called.. He is stp group. Only in america will someone from america try to scam someone.
Obnoxious man called and threatened me with arrest due to a debt that i supposedly owed. He would not provide me with any of his contact or business information just that the main office is in Houston, TX. He has called and harassed my family members telling them that if i do not return his calls he will send the police to my house immediately. He would not give me any information about the creditor just that the amount is over 3800.00. When I kept pushing him for his contact info he just told me to get bail money ready. I am filing a complaint with the FTC and would recommend that others do the same.
This same man mr. Spero or whoever he is is threatening me with wire fraud. Calling my employer for no other reason but to harass me I have called backed twice and gotten nothing but voicemail. I left a voicemail for him to send a copy of this supposed debt and he just keeps calling and leaving nasty messages
"According to BBB records, several consumer complaints allege STP & Associates' debt collectors misrepresent themselves as government agencies or law enforcement officers, often threatening consumers with legal action and/or incarceration if the alleged debt is not paid immediately. Individuals are often told the debt originates from a payday loan. Debt collectors with the company will not offer consumers identifying information such as the company's location or licensing/registration information, however.
Consumers should note that the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act requires debt collectors to identify themselves, as well as name the original creditor. Debt collectors must also provide verification of the debt if a consumer issues a written request within 30 days of receiving initial notice. The Act also prohibits collectors from engaging in the false misrepresentation of a debt's character, amount, or legal status.
A BBB investigation found STP & Associates was not actively registered with the Texas Secretary of State (SOS). BBB investigators found no record of STP & Associates in the state's database. State law requires debt collectors engaging in debt collection activities within Texas be bonded and registered with the SOS. Before paying any debt, verify the company contacting you is licensed to collect debts in your state. Beware of callers refusing to provide you with their identifying information or those who threaten you with legal action or arrest. "
