Rec'd several calls from an Anthony Presser asking for me or my daughter as they had a returned item from my daughter's bank and it needed to be taken care of immediately. Presumed it was fraud as my daughter does not have a bank account at any bank. She deals in cash and money orders only. She called them back and they would only give her a name of the place and the year but would not provide her any documentation that she owed this money. At first he told her it was $584 and then later in the conversation he told her $1,000.00 and refused to let her make payments. He then told her he was issuing 3 federal warrants for her arrest. She told him she didn't have that kind of money and would make payments but again he refused payments. (wonder why). She then proceeded to tell him that it was funny that this commpany was sending her offers in the mail and he told her that they do that anyway. (don't think so) He then told her as she was ending the call because once more he refused to provide the proof and not once has she been contacted by this company locally which is what would have happened, that he hoped she would enjoy her time in jail. After the call ended, my daughter then looked this company up on the internet and got the 888 number to call. Upon trying to call it several times, each time she was told the number was disconnected.

I have been receiving several calls from the same number!! They asked for me or my father. My dad's girlfriend answered the phone and the Anthony Presser guy assumed it was me when she said I wasn't home and got pissy with her and THEN told her all my "personal" info and that I was going to be brought up on charges of fraud. Is that not ILLEGAL????? I call back and am connected with an "Investigator Smith" whom tells me I can't make payments even though I am currently unemployed!! Borrow it from someone she tells me... I am told that they need at least $300 (of 800) in order to put a stop on it and that she will have to speak with a prosecuting attorney to make sure it is okay. I noticed that they all seem very unprofessional and have blatant disregard for human decency or respect. A professional company would not go about collecting a debt in such a manner.. would they??? They said they couldn't take any lower but once I call back and give them my speech ONCE AGAIN on how I don't have a damn job they tell me I can pay the $200!! I was going to go get a money gram to send them something but decided to look them up... Apparently I am not alone. I also looked up the 888 number and it was disconnected. Is this a scam or what???
