For the record, the company by the name of Phillip Henson Offices has the same exact address and phone number. Phillip Henson claims to be a publisher and Weinberg etal claim to be in the medical alarm service. This in itself shows you how shady these jerks really are. It took a lot of effort to find this info. I now even have the owner and Henson's personal phone numbers and addresses so my lawyer can have them served properly. They hire scumbags to do their dirty work. Ex-cons, crackheads etc. These people don't know the law so they just do whatever is necessary to get this fake "debt" paid. Probably funding their crack addictions. If they call again, feel free to say these things to them. But it goes much deeper than this. Phillip Henson used to work for a company called Bass and Associates who were shut down by the Florida AG as early as last year (I believe) and one of the rulings at the end of the suit was that no one associated with Bass was ever to work in the collections business again. I'm sure the Florida AG would be amused to hear that Phillip might be going against this ruling. I'm working on getting a definitive link between him and Bass.
As you probably know already they are a complete joke. They use illegal tactics to get people to pay for debts that either don't exist or have been illegally obtained. They were actually licensed to do collections but their license expired on December 31, 2010. Therefore, what they are doing is a criminal offense punishable by fines and/or jail time. Please feel free to use that information if they call again and accuse YOU of being the criminal. Not only that, but I am calling the Florida Licensing Board and letting them know that these POS's are operating with an expired license. There is so much I could tell you about these a-holes but it would take too many pages! I have been researching them for about a month now. They probably have no idea I wasn't going to forget about them. I am going to make these jerks an example for every other low-down scumbag doing this and calling it a "job". They leave an obnoxious pseudo-lawyer phrase "Govern yourself accordingly" at the end of all their voice messages. They use various names and spoofed phone numbers so you can’t locate them, but unfortunately for them, I have located them. Anyone interested in a class action suit against these dirt-bags, please let me know! There is power in numbers, let’s take them down!
This happened to me today and I fell for it. I sent them $800.00 through money gram. Please let me know what I need to do to file a law suit against them.
They call several times a day with threats of fraud charges and giving me 45 minutes to call and make payments through some bogus company. They ask to verify my address so they can serve me papers yet they have no address to verify therefor they must not have any info that would have been on an application if there was an outstanding debt. I have asked them to stop calling me and my children and even the x-wife. They are relentless and rude.
