I answered the phone at our office and heard a beep, then, "This is Jean Smith. I'll be brief. With mortgage rates at an all-time low..." by that time she was talking to the desk. I heard her ask if I'm the homeowner (I answered the phone "Law office"!) and when the desk failed to answer she said hello several times before disconnecting.
