Classic IRS scam call...Red flags galore. The mere fact that the IRS is even calling you should be enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up right off the bat -- If you fall for this BS, then you just need to stop taking phone calls. Everything about the call is absolutely ridiculous, from the heavy foreign accents to the outlandish gibberish they speak. They call you from this spoofed OK number & claim to be the "Crime Investigations Unit Of The IRS". We spoke with "Officer Sam Baker" & "Officer Alex Williams", who both sound as if they are somewhere in the Middle East, even though they have very generic American names LoL. They claimed that we owed something like $4000 in taxes & are going to be charged with tax fraus & 20-30 other charges unless we resolve out of court. They even gave us their address: 55 North Robinson Ave, Oklahoma City OK 73102....FYI this is legitimately the address for the OK tax office & IRS regional office, so if you get a call from these scammers, contact the real tax offices at 405-521-3160 & 405-297-4057 & report these crooks. If they get enough complaints, hopefully they will contact their local law enforcement.
