They called my mother looking for me from a local NC number, claiming to be a mediation firm (CRS) and that I was being sued by some company over bad debt. I called this number to figure out what it was, when asked to provide certified paperwork over the legal proceedings (legally they have to provide paperwork for you if you are being taken to court or mediation), they became nasty and hung up. It is a scam threatening jail time to get money.
