I've been corresponding with these people for the last two days via text, email and I have a voice recording. They said they chose me to be their tenant and their attorney's name: Sam Olsen (mind you that name is the Attorney General of GA and his phone number is 312-473-0023) You honestly think that the Attorney General is traveling viewing homes to rent!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! I am saving all my information and handing it over to the Authorities. I know I won't see the $500 but it's A HARD LESSON LEARNED! I should have noticed that when I looked at the Zillow site it had three different agents, and they were so persistant in receiving the money but refused to give me ANY information. ALSO BEWARE OF THESE NUMBERS as it is involved with them: 281-845-7655, 405-367-5808 and 312-473-0023.
They say they have a house, needed to move because of the job and now the house is vacant. Will charge $1200 incl utilities in a gated community. $1000 down. They will Fedex the keys and the attorney will come visit to sign the papers.
These people are jus horrible scamming hard working people. Did they think I would send them cash for keys. I never do transactions over email text or phone. Like really how stupid can people be drive by the property and ill send you the keys.
The same thing just happened to me. House to rent, $1,100 per month, and will mail the keys. Correspondance through email and text, but did give the number listed above to call. The guy was oriental, barely spoke English with the "supposed" name McQueeney. He has assumed the identity of the owner of the home!! Same story, had to move out of state for his job. I don't know how he got into Zillow to post the house....stating to only contact him. The actual house is for sale on Trulia, and not even for rent. He said he would not deal with realtors because they damaged his house. He even set up an email with the name of the owner of the property!

My wife was talking to them through email and they said we could drive by and look at the place (we were already on our way) when we got there realized it was a gated community, so we decided this seemed fishy. Told them we would not email, only talk to them over there phone and a day later they finally replied saying this was her husbands number. I decided to research the number and found your stories. Thank you for saving us the pain, we can't afford to lose money with two children.
I made contact with a person named Brian J. Martin and the phone number he gave me is (419) 777-4085 then called me with 405-563-3108. He is clearly African and sent me multipal emails as where i can send the $3200 to. He asked that i send the money to a Malinda Hartman then to a Thomas Parker. I then decisded that i would pul a scam of my own and started asking the most random questions regarding the home, like who the people were that are living in the home and if they are moving out by tomorrow so i can move in. I also asked him out on a date and sent him a picture of a very hairy woman... Well, what i think is a woman and asked that he send me a picture back. LOL Needless to say, i'm sure he figured out that i wont be sending him any money and i got a good laugh out of it. But to those that see homes with rates that are too good to be true, please be smart and be sure to do your homework on the home and people that are renting the home.
