acted like he was a long lost friend. wanted to sell me items. I said I was busy and had to go and he said he just had 3 items to tell me about. I said no thanks and hung up
Ernie with a good old southern accent. asked for our Senior VP. when I attempted to vet further as to why he was calling he just kept saying ej contracting. I said oh, what is your company about? the loser hung up on me. Thanks for disrupting our business work day! I like the suggestion to put people on hold but we're so busy thankfully, that we cant tie up all our lines. but it's a great idea. he hopefully will never call back. it's so disruptive...but i'm going to put these people on extended hold from now on. I write down all their numbers.
Guy called asking for my husband by name, I said he was at work, asked for his cell number as he really had to get ahold of him. We have call display so I answered that I knew he was a telemarketer and to please remove our name from the list and said thank you. I could hear him say in a tone...excuse me!!! I just hung up.
