Received a call from 405-708-5026 claiming to be with VA Benefits. Then they started a sales pitch about lowering out VA mortgage rate. Then they transferred to a different person. I hung up, then received a call back from 405-445-3356. I did not answer so they left me a message to call back to 707-800-1222. I don't know if his is a scam, but they wanted me to provide them with documents. When I told them I did not do business with phone callers, the told me they could direct me to a web site that would alieve my fears. Concerned this may be a hacker.
Just received a call on my Cell Phone from 405-708-5026. They guy said his name was Mr. Garret calling from Veterans Benefits Services. Just like the previous post....the guy had a whole sales pitch and wanted to provide me information on lowering down the VA mortgage rate. He seemed very shady and wasn't providing any details as to how he received my information. He also asked that I verify some of this information he had...and of course I did not. Instead I asked several questions and he questioned my questions....ultimately he Hung Up.
