The number is not spoofed. Hertz Equipment Rental is HUGE. we rent equipment from them in Calgary Alberta and their sales people call from oklahoma to see if we are happy with the service etc. If you owe money, the local number of the local business would call. so, not spoofed at all
have to wonder why you are replying to a 1 and 1/3 year old post. I would think that Hertz, being a large company would send them a letter in the mail giving all the details and asking for insurance information. Or, and this would most likely be what would happen, they would have filed a police report on hit and run and then had actual police officers show up asking questions.
So you have just proven to us that if anyone calls from this number, they are lying thieves trying to steal money. Your momma, if you know who she is, must be so proud.
Call from Hertz wanting thanking us for our business and to make sure that everything was going ok. She started off the call with "can I speak with *unintelligible name*?" When asked to clarify she said "who ever does equipment rental for you guys."
She sounded like a cold call so I put her through to the general voicemail box.
Hertz Rent2Buy program calling to make sure I understand how the program works. I am grateful they called because it seemed a lot more complicated than I thought. I cancelled my reservation to view the car through the Rent2Buy but I will still buy from Hertz when they have a vehicle simply for sale. They have come recommended to me by 2 clients who have bought through them. No hassles.
