Susan - what brought you to this message board?  This is a message board for discussing annoying incoming phone calls, most of them spam or scam.  Most people land here when they google a phone number that is harassing them.

Most of the other comments on this phone number say its a scam.  But you are singing the praises of the the people behind the number.  Did you google the phone number so you could praise the company?  Or did someone pay you to visit here and post nice things about the company?

This number is indeed from Hertz. I got into an accident and my insurance covered me for a Hertz rental. Hertz rented me a vehicle that was reported stolen! I didn't know until I went outside one day to the parking lot and the car wasn't there. The police were looking for me. I explained to the police everything that had happened and showed them my Hertz rental agreement. I complained to Hertz over the phone and nothing has been resolved yet. I wouldn't recommend Hertz to anyone based on this experience.

The number is not spoofed.  Hertz Equipment Rental is HUGE.  we rent equipment from them in Calgary Alberta and their sales people call from oklahoma to see if we are happy with the service etc.  If you owe money, the local number of the local business would call.  so, not spoofed at all

I was looking for loan information two years ago.  I put in a request for information.. used the name fake name wednessday lane.  Now two years later after 1000's of spam phone calls a guy leaves a message from Hertz telling wednessday lane to return the car...

This number is to The Hertz Corporation, the admin center. If you are receiving a call from this number, it is either due to a claim from damage to a Hertz rental, or you are in possession of an overdue Hertz rental that needs to be returned or extended. If you are in an overdue rental you can call 1-800-552-8482 for questions regarding your contract or to make an extension.
