I received several calls from Card Services ! Automated call to lower CC debt to 6.9 % . I qualified which is odd as I am in bankrupcy and have filed w/ the court of my state .. Asked if want to talk to a person push #1 or if you want to disconnect #2 .. I hit 2 and right away Jeromy answered .. No I pushed 2 fool !! Click !! They will call back !!
They keep calling even though I have told them to take my number off their list. Also, tried to call number back and remove my number from their list automatically. But their automated system just keeps repeating itself.
I received a phone call from this number today and they seem extremely suspicious. The conversation went as follows:
Me: Put me on your Do Not Call List.
Caller: We do not have a Do Not Call List.
Me: I want to speak to a supervisor.
Caller: I am a supervisor.
Me: I want to speak to YOUR supervisor.
Caller: I do not have a supervisor.
Me: You are working for someone else therefore you have a supervisor. I want to speak to him or her NOW.
Caller: *hangs up*
This is fishy as hell. I will be reporting this to the FCC and I suggest everyone else reading this to do the same.
P.S. The person I spoke to had a very thick Indian accent which makes me doubt that this call came from Bozeman, MT. Also, I looked up the address of this phone number on Google Maps. This phone number is registered to a shack!
Received a call from the above number. I wasn't home and no msg was left. I wrote down the info listed on my caller ID......2:27 pm 07-21-2011....ID listed said "Procedures". Probably another we can lower your credit card interest....which is of no big deal to me since I pay mine off monthly! Being on the DNC list doesn' make any difference at all....and nothing is done to these call places when reported anyway.
Credit card marketing company pretending to be ours calling about a final notice we need to respond to (but they're NOT our credit card company.) We pressed 1 to speak to a representative, told him that we're on the DNCR, and asked that they remove our number from their marketing list, but he put he hung up on us. We called back, got a voicemail asking us to press 1 to be removed from their list, but then their phone disconnects. We filed complaints with the DNCR + FCC, and will keep doing so until those parasites stop harrassing us.
