I'm furious that I have a new cell phone with new number, and only my credit card, bank, and a couple relatives have the numbers so far, but already this CREDIT SCAM company has the number and is bothering me.
I've received the same call as described by Jabus on May 5th. It's a recording of a woman who identifies herself as "Rachel" and offers to lower my interest rates. I do not and have never had a credit card, so it was extremely obvious that the call was a scam from the get go.
Interestingly, they've also been calling three other members of my immediate family. I barely ever use my cell, and I checked to see if my cell phone number is on any of their contact lists. It is not. The only connection I can find between all of us is that we have prepaid phones from TracFone. Are the other people receiving calls also using prepaid cells?
I received a call from them, but missed it. I've tried calling back several times but I get a message stating the number is not in service. Really odd. I'm on an AT&T cell phone.
