It seems to be the same place calling me all the time and using different caller ID phone numbers. When I hear the Google web site recording I punch in 120 and I get a live guy at that extension. I ask to be removed but usually just get hung up on. Now I just verbally abuse him and hopefull ruin his day a bit.
It was Google,,,YES GOOGLE! They were calling to let me know how awesome my business was and they really wanted to help establish me in my local area. I think this is awesome on Google,,,YES GOOGLE'S,,,,part because I haven't even opened a business yet. With my *Half Eaten Plates of Food* restaurant idea, they could really help get the ball rolling with marketing and such. Let the money pour in like salt all over the half eaten fries on my Thursday night specials!
It's NOT Google, but it is one of those scam 'companies' that uses Google's name and reputation to try and scam people or businesses out of anything they can get from them before they get wise to the scheme and drop out.
This idiot was telling me that he could 'make my business show up on the first page of Google for $85 per month'. Total lie.
This moron was calling from a disconnected / non working number - what else do you need to know it's a scam? A neon flashing sign?
It is not google calling... In fact I use http://Google.com/voice for my phone and it never rang my phone as it went straight to my SPAM folder as a result of Google Flagging it for me! If it were in fact Google they would not have Flagged it as SPAM !
