I just got a new phone number, and they've been calling me no less than 4 times a day everyday for the last two weeks. Everytime I pick up, they don't say anything and just hang up.
Repeated calls from the "Senior Diabetes Network", asking whether either my non-existent wife or myself are diabetics and on Medicare. Repeatedly asked them to remove my number, without success. Very, very annoying. I wouldn't buy something from them regardless of what it is or what its price.
I got a call yesterday from a woman saying she was from the Department of Labor, calling my office phone number asking about my company's compliance for 401(k) programs. It was very obvious that English was not her native tongue, she was very hard to understand, there was lots of background noise. I asked her to repeat who she worked for, and again she said the "DOL." Didn't sound legit, so I hung up. She (or someone else) has called again 4 times now. Since I do have phone number ID (just the number, not the caller's name), I'm able to see this number 406-478-2356 and haven't answered my phone. These folks do not leave a message.
They've called me only once; this morning I received a call showing caller ID of reset. What bothered me is that while they didn't leave a message, the caller said "Hello....hello....(name of my son)", but they actually used my son's name. When we didn't pick up the line they hung up.
