1) register the number on the National Do Not Call Registry
2) My cell has an option to reject numbers. If they are calling a cell, see if your cell has this number in the caller settings menu. I believe that most newer Samsung phone have this feature for both calls and texts.
I received a call from this number basically they were trying to locate a certain person so the Sheriff Dept could serve some papers. I stated that I did not know that person (and that is the truth). I tried asking how they had my number, what Sheriff Dept etc and they hung up on me. This really has me worried.
We have gotten MANY calls from this number looking for a Melissa M...told them this is not her number and asked them to please stop calling my house. The calls continue to come. They start the conversation by saying they were trying to serve this person papers for a legal matter. Immediately after telling them I did not know this person, they hang up in my ear...REAL PROFESSIONAL!!!! I'm not worried about the calls, just very irritated!
This number keeps calling me, also from another number with a Jacksonville, FL area code. It's getting very old and aggravating, I don't know how to go about making this stop.
Stop Calling me. I have asked people from this same number to stop calling me for three weeks.
They won't stop!!!! I don't know who they are asking for...and I'm tired of it.
I don't know if this is true or even why/how this number got my information but I guess someone said they got it from the "Facebook Messenger" app so I tried uninstalling to day after receiving a call (and no voicemail from this number so I highly doubt this was too important of a matter to be calling me CONSTANTLY) so fingers crossed
