I too got many calls from TDF and contacted the FTC. Today, I got one from VACATION- 406-852-8255. I registered a complaint with Do Not Call List. All these calls with a 406 area code, and many more, are from a VERIZON CELL PHONE and the area code is in or around Miles, Montana. WHY CAN'T ANYONE STOP THIS HARASSAMENT?!
I've been getting calls from this TDF number for some time now. I live in the Twin Cities as well. I know of a connection I have in Montana, but I don't know if this number has to do with this particular connection. I also am tired of dealing with these clowns. If anyone has any ideas, I'll be happy to check back.
Joe, your paranoia about a "national pandemic of telephone terrorism perpetrated by desperate criminal collection agencies" is absolutely absurd. One has to assume you're a deadbeat debtor intentionally trying to avoid paying justified debts, thus perpetuating the economic downturn. You bonehead, the banks are only partially to blame for this economic disaster...you idiots that should have never been granted credit were taking, taking and taking all the credit that banks would give you...just to vault to the nearest Bankruptcy court and post tyrranical rantings about how you're being terrorized by justified creditors demanding money you're too chicken and too morally corrupt to pay.
