I too got many calls from TDF and contacted the FTC. Today, I got one from VACATION- 406-852-8255. I registered a complaint with Do Not Call List. All these calls with a 406 area code, and many more, are from a VERIZON CELL PHONE and the area code is in or around Miles, Montana. WHY CAN'T ANYONE STOP THIS HARASSAMENT?!
I've had calls from this # once a day since June 3rd. Calls stopped for a few days and now today they called again. I've only answered the call once and was hung up on....also I've called them back several times and have left msgs to stop calling. I don't give my name just the # they called. Going to have a block puton my phone!!!!!
Although I think Joe was sincerely trying to provide some helpful information, I'm not certain why he's spamming (for lack of a better word) in this forum. I hope this hasn't been done for all the numbers here. Perhaps the Debt Collection Calls forums in 800 notes is a better place to discuss debt collection and state opinions or as a means to provide links to all this information. I appreciate 800notes and wouldn't want the database to be bloated by reams of those kinds of posts, not to mention I'm only interested in the subject at hand.

I hesitate to post this as I've found out a *possibility* for what TDF is, but it *isn't confirmed* as I've never answered this number.
There is a TALAMANCA DOLPHIN FOUNDATION in Manzanillo, Talamanca, Costa Rica, which appears to go by TDF. There was a connection (remote office?) to Bozeman in January 2003. I have no idea if this is still the case or ever was the case. The contact appears to be a valid residential number (although a different number than the one we're getting called by), which is also in Bozeman. I will not disclose it here because as mentioned I do not know if they are truly connected.
Again, I have no idea if this is correct as I'm not going to answer this number and find out. So, take this as a possibility only - this information is not confirmed. If this information is true, it is kind of humorous to be dealing with dolphins in Montana!
I just got the call, I have call rejection so I just added it to the list. I have the same thing happen to us all day long and it hangs up immediately. Sick of calls like this too
