This is a scam- pure and simple. These pieces
if crap call non-stop, day and night. What kind of
person does this sort of thing for a living? I have
complained to do-not-call registry dozens of times.
Nothing. These government agencies that do zero
are just as bad as the scammers. I hope they and all
their family members get a hideous and excruciatingly
painful terminal illness and die. Then I'll go down to
the cemetery and piss on their graves
Got a call from this number -406-931-3768- the Caller ID says that it is from Big Timber, MT. Funny thing is I just put my number on the Do Not Call list about 2 months ago.
Unfortunately these calls are not covered by the do not call list. Contact the FTC/FCC. They state they cannot investigate individual complaints but if everyone complains, they will have to do something.

I have Comcast. I canblock numbers from home and as the "scammers" change their #'s, I block them, It has reallty cut down on the calls.
The do not call registry covers "legit telemarketers" and since these are considered scammer calls, they aren't covered. By the way, when the recording states to push a button, DON'T..it makes matters worse. Just hang up, report the call anyway and get it blocked.The carrier behind these calls are subsidaries of Verizon.Maybe going after them would be a start.
Don't push any buttons. Do not give out any info. Call your phone carrier and see about getting a block on these calls as they will keep at it. They use lots of diff #'s so I block them as I get them and it has cut back a lot. Also contact the FTC. Let them know you aren't the only one receiving these calls. See my notes on one of the others here that I replied to. I has the address for the FTC. They also have a toll free # to call but I don't have it handy.
