I got this today as well "Hello this is Rachel with card member services, there is no problem with your credit card. (short pause) You Qualify for a reduced interest rate as low as 6.9%. Please press 9 to speak to a live operator."
Notice the lack of what credit card company they work for?
Notice that they don't even say my name in there... because they don't know it?
Notice that it's not the 1-800 number either of my two credit cards would be from, or that a debt reduction company would most likely be from?
I suspect it's a scam to try and get credit card information from people.
