yep got a call while i was out hunting really odd ...i usally play 405 for a 3 diget and 5829 for a 4 diget thought it was odd that this number came threw so close to the lotto numbers i play ....so i played them and no luck ....lol
Got a call yesterday from (407)000-3829 with a recording asking if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rates to hit 9. I was curious so I did. A man came on the line and since I was somewhat skeptical I was asking allot of questions to see if it sounded like a scam. One of my credit cards was involved in a compromize so I decided to discontinue that card. He never asked me for my card number but insisted that I had to have "active" cards in order for him to get me a lower interest rate. He wanted me to give him the customer services 800 number and then he asked me for the last 4 of my social. I was not about to give him that and when I asked him for the name of his company so that I could google it, the call was suddenly lost. Imagine that!
I got a call from these folks last week. At first I thought it was my credit card company. The woman asked if I wanted my credit card interest rate lowered, and I said yes out of skeptical curiosity. She asked for exp. date on a credit card, and then wanted the number. I did not give the number. She sounded very convincing, but I know better than to give out the number to any stranger that calls. The big tip-off was asking for the exp. date also. That's all she needed to start charging stuff to my card. Warn your family and friends about this scam, and to never give info like this to anyone who calls you. If you are interested, then get info from them so you can go out on the www and find them yourself and check them out.
