Also in Alaska here. I pressed 9, got a person who repeated the recording information. I asked him which card it was for. He said "Strictly your Mastercard and Visa." I asked which one, because I didn't know which card "Cardholder Services" was handling. There was a very long pause, and he hung up.
i dont have any credit cards anymore....and they called wanting to lower my interest rate....i pressed 9, and someone just hung up the phone....i too live in AK...must be some fradulant or something, but then again, credit cards give out our personal information to anyone who wants to pay for it, so i guess i could be on an old list, but at any rate, its tacky, unprofessional, and mostly annoying.
in Anchorage, Alaska, just got a call from this number at my work phone, stating the similar lowering of credit card rate to 6.9% and to press 9 for real person. Phish are biting in AK.
