Just got a call from them, have received several calls from them where they left a message about reducing my credit card rate. Today I wanted to talk to them to find out who they were! So, pressed 9, got transferred to someone who asked me if I was interested in getting my rate reduced on my credit card, that I was "eligible" for the rate reduction. I said I wanted to know who I was speaking to first - company name, individual name etc. They said they were with "ACcount Services" but didn't give me an individual name. They also said they "represented" Visa and Mastercard - which is a lie. If Visa / MC wanted to reduce the rate for their customer, they would contact them directly, and not over the phone!!!
I advised this individual that I was on the "do not call" list and to please remove me from their calling list, but before I could finish, he hung up on me. I tried to call back but the number on caller ID doesn't work!! This is a SCAM - so do not give them any personal information and ask to be removed from their list.
This number just called me too... I just told then i'm rich and don't use or need credit... Sorry... Then they asked about bank accounts, I told them I let my accountant take care of my financial situations... Haha, let's see if they call back!
Same experience with me too.... also got the same thing from 702-520-1473. My bet....SCAM and phishing trip.... please DO NOT give out any of your personal information!!!!!!
