I just got a call from this number...very irritating as these calls come into my office at least 3-4 times/week. These calls offer to lower credit card rates. I pressed 9 to speak to someone to get removed from their call list (which I always do) and this woman refused and tried telling me that she doesn't have the power to do that and that the do not call registry is who I should be talking to. She THEN proceeded to tell me that they work for the Visa/Mastercard Corporate office (ya, right) and that they have the right to call us...I then asked her why, then, did she tell me to consult the 'Do Not Call' registry if it doesn't apply to them?! LOL She didn't get it...needless to say, not very bright and I was only too happy to be the one who got her to stumble over her words and talk herself in circles!
