Received an automated call regarding my credit card about to expire. Out of curiosity and in an attempt to identify the actual company calling, I followed through. When an actual person came on the line, I first asked who did she think she had actually called. She hung up immediately - obviously a phishing call. I wanted some more definitive information to send to the state attorney general's office, but, alas, did not get any!
Recieved a call from "Credit Card Services" at 407-000-9426 that my opportunity to lower my rates was going to expire shortly and this was my last chance. Sure wish the darn things would "expire" in truth so these people would stop calling me. I let it ring through to a representative "Mitch" who hung up when I asked if he had a superviser.
