He first called on another #, then called back on the 407 #. The second call I told the toilet mouth I was reporting him to the FBI and they would be contacting him shortly. I then hung up on him. If he calls back again, I'm going to tell him a Predator Drone is en route to his location.
That 043 ruins any chance of the call being anything but bad. PO'd, threats don't matter to guys who are likely safe on the other side of the world. While it might make you feel better, they still get a win if you answer their calls, along with probably ensuring you'll get more. Ignoring suspicious numbers is perhaps the best thing to do.
This is the standard "card services" credit card scam. This number has called twice. Each time the call has come three minutes after a prior "card services" scam call that spoofed my own phone number in its Caller ID. Coincidence? Probably not. Curious? Definitely.
This number called, they knew a lot which at first pointed to their legitimacy. For example they knew the first 6 numbers of an account I had debt on, and knew the last 4 digits of my social, but didn't know my name. When I said it they needed me to spell it which points to the fact that there's no way they are affiliated with the bank. They have continued to call and I canceled all of my cards as a precaution.
Called multiple times; finally I picked up and told them to remove me from their list. They called again a few minutes later and told me "Go f*** yourself!"
