I received a call from this number as well. They said they wanted to lower my interest rates. I don't have any credit cards so I pressed 1 to speak to a person. Well when I said I didn't have any credit cards the man immediately started yelling at me asking me why the hell i pressed 1. Then he proceeded to threaten me saying he has my address and has no problem coming to my house and fixing the problem. When I told him to take my number off the call list he got even more verbally abusive so i hung up and couldn't call back to get the name of the company or whoever.
I just got called from this number twice in 5 minutes. The first time I did not answer but I googled it and found this site. The second time I answered it and it was something but my car warranty. I didn't press one because I've heard about phone scams where you press a number and end up with a $2000 phone bill. Is there anything we can do to stop these calls?
I too got this call, to "lower" my intreast rates. When I pressed her with questions, she started getting huffy with me asking do I wanted help or not. She soon hung arutly on me.
Also, I belive that they are using a internet phone service, like Skype. The call was of poor quaility and had to ask her to repeat herself several times. Anyone else notice this?
