Repeated calls form this number. I answered today and was told they are not selling anything that they are a Gov't funded program "the clean act program". The name of the compnay is "Southern Energy Group." They wanted my name and address to set an appt. for an evaluation to see if I qualify for assistance, free money. I did not give the information and asked to allow me to research and call them back but was told they did not have in an incoming call line, they are a new compnay and do not yet have a website. I looked them up by name and phone number on the Better Business Org. site - http://www.bbb.org and found no record.

Just a hang up. They called last night with 'this is not a solicitation, you could have $4000 of energy home saving money...'
I told them I wasn't interested. They call daily. Business hours as well as at dinner time.
I work from home so when I answer with my business name, they just hang up on me. They only talk with me when I just say hello.
I just got a call from this number. It is about the fourth time they called. This time I talked with them and told them that I was not interested in anything they have to offer. They said all they needed to do was confirm that I own a home, and how much my electric bill was. Again, I told them that they were not getting any information out of me and they needed to take me off of their list.
1-407-928-0986 I get three to four calls a week. This time I pushed one as instructed so that I could finally get some info on who keeps calling. Women identified herself as Ashley from Southern Energy Association. The implication is that they are not selling anything but offering a potential rebate to all Progress Energy and FPL customers. I asked for a number to call...saying I had a bad connection. She would only offer to call back. When I pressed for a fax number she went into her sales pitch as if she
had to atleast get that in before a hang up occurred.
We have received this call now over 10 times in the past couple of months. Sometimes its a recorded message and sometimes its a human. The "human" actually argued with my husband saying "you are not on any list" and argued about calling past 9:00 p.m. - which apparently was a different time according to their time zone. I filed a complaint on the "do not call registry complaint" line as suggested by the operator, who determined the calls were originating in Miami, some local. It's a huge scam, and an pain in the @$$.
