I've caught a SCAMMER!! I have a payment due in 2 days. I've been receiving calls all morning. I've read on here that it's a collections call. I called this number and the foreign representative asked for all 16 digits of my card. DEAD RINGER!! You shouldn't EVER have to tell anyone calling from a legit credit card company all 16 digits of your number. As soon as he asked I told him flat out that this was a fake call, that I shouldn't and wouldn't be giving out all that information. I then hung up on him. I called the legit number for Credit One collections listed on their site. Though the lady was foreign she only asked for the last 4 digits of the card number and last 4 digits of my social. BEWARE FOLKS!!! I made sure all was current and it was.
I got one everyday this week, im past due date of 7 days...........they don't say who they are its PRIVATE but you can do *69 and get this number. its an indian (asia) accent man no hello no identity of caller or company just blurts out a name and I hang up I myself donot owe an exuberant amount and am not over 30 days either mini 34 a month good grief I like you will pay it off by the monthlyminimum and ADIOS Credit one card
Credit one bank card..........They will call private and not address you or identify whom they are its not an american accent..........They do not follow state laws or collections you cant be in collections for a payment thats over 7 days.
They have called me at least 25X a day, never leaves a message and calls every single day by about 34 different numbers so far! It's one thing to call about a past due Bill but entirely different to constantly blow your phone up with calls! I have spoke with them and told them I will be paying it off next Friday and closing it but I guess no one passes it on to the other 100+ places they call from all over the world!!! It has shown up as credit one, private, unknown, nothing at all in the name, Sri lanka, and 000-000-0000.
my next payment with them isn't for 2 weeks from today and they call me like 10 times a day. its so annoying that i have blocked them. in addition i went online logged into my account and changed my contact number so that i can stop receiving these annoying calls. now when they call the number on file for me its some stupid hotline bwahahahaha
log in their online portal and change your number to any other number. i just did it it will take up till 3 days to change in their system hopefully i stop getting the calls. i just put the phone number to a phone sex operator ;/ so when they call and want to be annoying they can go F them selves.
