I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. The Do Not Call registry only blocks from numbers that have a teleblock set up on them. I work in the timeshare industry and have teleblock on my desk phone, and am unable to call any number that's registered with the DNC. It's there for a reason to avoid the company getting fined. Unfortunately the DNC doesn't block everyone. I absolutely hate getting calls like this and sometimes feel like it's pointless to even sign up with the DNC.

And said she was in georgia and was trying to sell me food magazines. I think someone stole my identity lol
I am also getting calls although since I do not know the number I don't answer. I am thinking that this is a sign of the times when companies are selling info (notice how when you view things on the 'net and the ensuing ads that appear) and these may just be verification calls to validate the numbers before further selling.
