This number has called 3 or 4 times since 8/14. Leaves no message. Caller ID shows either "Orlando, FL" & the number or the number itself only. Yesterday, I picked up the phone but remained silent. A male said "hello" a couple of times, and the scary part was, he then said my name - "Joan?" questioningly. I hung up. Anyone I actually had done business with would not conceal their Caller ID or not leave a message as to subject of the call. We probably  receive only 3 out of every 10 calls which are legitimate; friends, doctors, and so forth.
All of these nuisance phone calls, (not just from this particular number) have dramatically increased since the beginning of the year. Do Not Call lists are meaningless, and I'm annoyed that various phone companies allow Caller ID displays to be altered as to correct name, if a name is even shown; sometimes it's just meaningless numbers. Phone companies provide Caller ID for the consumer to screen calls, then does not prevent telemarketers from using fraudulent, or no, ID data, thus defeating the purpose.
