Also received the same call as most, "Do not be alarmed. . .". Called the number back and some woman answered, "Hello, hello." I asked who it was. She told me her name but I don't remember what it was. I stated "No, who are you calling for, what company?". She had a real attitude, even before that question, and told me the company but again I don't remember it. I asked, "Why does your company keep calling me when I am on the 'Do Not Call' list?". She stated, "I don't know sweetheart." I interrupted her, "Don't call me sweetheart." She then hung up on me. I just reported the number and event to the 'Do Not Call' registry. It seems like a scam!! I would not trust the unprofessional nature of this supposed company.
yes they keep calling back if you don't answer... This number has called me 10 times within the last two weeks. I never answer, but they still keep calling back!
Call came in as not to be alarmed, it was my last chance to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. I pressed 1 and asked what company they were with, the guy hung up. They called again and my husband pressed 1 and asked for a working phone number from them and the guy hung up! This was on 10/10/08
