This is a Verizon Collection Dept. number. After leavingVerizon service for 1 month, got a bill for early termination charges, even though they can't provide good internet service to area I live in.
They call from different 407 area code numbers, but Never leave a message. Finally spoke to a supervisior and have my number Blocked from them and now have a direct number for the Stupidvisior to deal with this person.
They have concocted, thru their contract agreement, how to rip folks off when you terminate their service.
I was with them for 2 years. Always paid on time. But with time I learned a few things about Verizon.
If you decide, even after 2 yrs, to cancell your contract the cost to do that is a ridiculous $300.
I had purchased a Andoid phone. At a later date added the internet. Being it was a package. If you terminate the
phone service, you also terminate the internet. This almost doubled the cancellation fee. Can you believe that!
Almost doubled just to end a service. There needs to be a law.
When I added the internet on they never mentioned a double dip to cancell. And, when they made it sound so great to combine the two into this family plan. They say that's what locked you into this large cancellation fee. Can you believe this. It's unheared of! You don't discover this untill the end.
Lastly, I cancelled the service in July 2011. They shut the phone down almost immidiately. Which would have been
fine with me. But.........
I had auto pay from my account....big mistake......went into surgery for the heart........6 mos. in the hospital.
When I got my mind together after the trauma.
I found out that Verizon continued to bill my card for 6 mos. at $77.00 per month. $462
This is what these companies do. Then they deny the service was closed..Ha
Now they want to collect Their cancellation fee's.
Personally I look at it as a wash. They'll never see anymore of my hard earned money.
Their all about greed. The buck stops here.

This IS NOT VERIZON. They call themselves Verizon, but they're not. They keep calling my BellSouth landline from this number, 407-401-7166 and 407-992-8470. This is a scam.
