If you own a timeshare this is one of those scams to try and rent or sell it for you. They tell you how much it is worth, several thousand dollars more than it's really worth and then ask if you would like to sell it for cash.
The scam is that they advertise it for you, which costs around $600-$800 for the advertisement.
Most time shares are not even worth that much. You can advertise your timeshare on your own for much less money. Try Craigs list or maybe your local newspaper. Again it is a scam, they do not buy it they advertise it!!!!!!!!!!!!
They called asking about "property". I asked to speak to the supervisor and they said they would put my name on the DNC list. I asked to speak to the supervisor again and he said "No" and hung up.
They keep calling and calling and calling...I don't even get to answer the phone before they hang up,,,this just keeps happening,,,and this phone number is the one displayed,,,,,407-429-3134
The article is not referencing the company behind this number. We have a timeshare and they constantly call asking if we want to sell it. They just called tonight and they will call again next month. They want to advertise it for hundreds of dollars, just Gunner said. We just don't answer it anymore and they don't leave messages anymore either.
Don't know if this is a scam or not, suspect it is. Since I neither want to rent out or sell my time share, I don't bite. Told them again to take me off their list. "What list?" the person on the other end of the line says. "Whatever list you are using to access, my number," I replied and hung up. Interestingly enough, when I redialed that number, it would start to ring then disconnect.
Time share property is property, so is listed in public records which is how they get they names and phone numbers. I'll put this number on my reject list also, but they'll just use another.
