Caller from 407-447-6570 calls my home at LEAST 4 times a day. I didn't answer for a long time, or I'd pick it up and hang up. They never left messages, and I knew it was junk. Finally, I answered one day to tell them to take me off their call list. When I did, the man (Loankin?) said I had charged a vacation back in Feb 2004 for $600.00 to my credit card, and since it had expired and I didn't use the vacation, he wanted me to purchase another vacation package to be able to use some of the cost from the prior one. I KNEW I hadn't purchased the package. He said it wasn't purchased through their company...it was some travel agency & he didn't even know the name. I asked his name, he said (Loankin?, and I asked hime to spell it and he hung up on me. I called my cc company, and there was NO charge from Feb 2004. He was obviously just trying to get me to purchase another package. BEWARE.
i keep getting a phone call from this number as well. i called them back today to ask them why they were calling and to remove my name. i got a VERY RUDE woman on the phone who said they were a switchboard and she cant remove my name and what she "suggested" (or rather raised her voice and very rudely shouted to me) was "well then answer your phone then next time they call"
I live in Massachusetts and we have a "Do not call" list where these companies are not allowed to call you and solicite if you are on the list. After speaking to that woman, I plan on filing a complaint against them.
